CNTS Data

The CNTS Data set contains more than 200 years of annual data from 1815 onward, for over 200 countries, with 196 variables including demographic, political, legislative, economic and social data in an easy-to-use Excel format.

Unique to this data set are the Domestic Conflict events (those occurring within a particular country): Anti-Government Demonstrations, Assassinations, General Strikes, Major Government Crises, Revolutions, Riots, Terrorism/Guerrilla Warfare and Purges. From 2011 onward there are optional files of links to the media sources for each Domestic Conflict event.

The data can be accessed through subscribing libraries or by individual purchase.
