the CNTS Data Archive
CNTS contains more than 200 years of annual data from 1815 onward, for over 200 countries, with 196 variables used by social scientists, academia, government, finance and media, including demographic, political, legislative, economic and social data.
Unique to this data set are the Domestic Conflict events (those occurring within a particular country), i.e.: Anti-Government Demonstrations, Assassinations, General Strikes, Major Government Crises, Revolutions, Riots, Terrorism/Guerrilla Warfare and Purges.
Optional LINKS files consist of live links to the media sources for each Domestic Conflict event in the Archive from 2011 onward.
CNTS is in an easy to use Excel format, and can be accessed through subscribing libraries or by individual purchase.
